What You'll Do
This is a leadership position that requires connecting with people in an outgoing and friendly manner. You'll be responsible for managing financial and control activities, including consumer and general accounting, financial planning, banking, insurance, taxes and employee benefits. You'll work at a faster-than-average work pace while ensuring that you are carefully working within the guidelines of established operating policies. You will be part of the leadership team which includes training, teaching and motivating others.
You are very detailed and efficient, but enjoy opportunities to work at a fast pace, in a changing environment. You are driven to get results, while being concerned with rules and accuracy. While you enjoy structure, variety keeps you interested in your work. You communicate in a friendly persuasive way and make decisions with input from others when needed. You project enthusiasm to promote team collaboration and a positive work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 8 years of experience in a variety of accounting roles (i.e. accounts receivable/payable, general accounting, payroll and finance)
• 5 or more years of management experience (hiring, training and developing a team)
• Experience in staff project management and/or program planning
Preferences may be given to candidates who also have a CPA and/or Cooperative work experience.
